What's a 'webinar'? Each webinar is the official upgrade training that Ex Libris provides for Voyager modules -- slightly compressed. They no longer send a representative to each library for training -- instead they offer online, in-person training. The webinar trainer will be showing her desktop (which will be projected onto a screen) and be speaking to us over a phone line (with speakers so all can hear). Attendees can ask questions and the webinar trainer will respond -- all in real time!
The Voyager 7 Upgrade webinar session will cover the new WebVoyage and features that all the other staff modules share in common.
Each of the staff module webinars will focus on the features and use of each module.
Registered attendees will receive a certificate of completion for each training webinar session.
These webinars could be considered, in this case, "Train the Trainer" experiences, or multiple people from each library could come and attend the webinars they're interested in.
