• Bylaws must be approved by two consecutive meetings to become official. Second approval to be sought at next meeting.

• Officers -- Discussion about when we should elect officers and how. It was decided to officially vote in current interim officers.

Nell Yang, Secretary/Treasurer -- two year term. Robin Hartman, Chairperson -- one year term, to be followed by Chairperson-Elect. No candidates were presented for the Chairperson-elect which will remain unfilled until our next meeting. Further Discussion: It might be best to have an officer who works at an institution that hosts a training event.

• Next? Discussion of the SWVUG should do next. Communication -- the web site will be used to post information about members for individual follow up. Names and contact information will be posted along with training event attendance and other useful information for member use. Also, Robin Hartman will be in contact with members via email with any new information. Another training event -- look back at the survey results from May 2001 and evaluation forms from this week's sessions. Probably could have another training event in January.
