  • Demeter Lyon (Chiron Corporation) opened the meeting with an accounting of last year’s introductory meeting of interested southwestern region Voyager users at VUGM 2000. Fellow 2000 attendees, Brenda Jones (Glendale Community College) and Robin Hartman (Hope Int’l Univ.), added to the discussion.

  • Introductions of attendees.

  • Discussion of group interest.
It was agreed that a regional training event would be of interest.
Endeavor support staff ensured the group that they would provide regional training events.
Nell Yang (Santa Ana College) volunteered to host such an event. The time of year and content would be determined by a survey of members present.
Robin Hartman volunteered to develop a survey for email distribution.
A sign-in sheet was sent around to record names and email addresses.

  • The next meeting will be determined by survey results.
