Welcome to the "NEW" Ex Libris Southwest Users Group* wiki -- where YOU can share with your colleagues!

eSWUG is made up of libraries in the southwestern region** of the United States whose common connection is the use of any of the various library software packages from Ex Libris.

* formerly known as the Southwest Voyager Users Group (SWVUG)

** who is in the Southwest region? Libraries in the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico
The purpose of this regional user group is to share resources for staff training, end-user application and teaching of software, and other on-going needs of its membership libraries.

  • ~~MINICONFERENCE 2/18/2011~~

  • We had a successful virtual conference, attended by 29 people. About half of the attendees where from other regional user's groups.

  • ~~WINTER BUSINESS MEETING~~

  • We held the winter business meeting and the minutes have been posted to this website: February 2011 Minutes

    • ~~NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT-ELECT~~

  • Nominations are now open for the position of President-Elect of eSWUG. Please send any nominations to me. Voting on new officers will take place at the meeting at ELUNA.

    • ~~MINICONFERENCE 2012 HOST SITE NEEDED~~

  • We are looking for host sites for miniconference 2012. Any volunteers can contact me between now and June.

    Just a quick note to let you all know that I am now on the ELUNA 2009 Planning Committee with the position of Coordinator of Photos. So do not be surprised if I ask you to bring your cameras to the ELUNA 2009 Conference, to help me with taking pictures. I am sure I will find out more about my responsibilities as time goes on. If interested in helping to take pictures, please let me know, and I will put you on a list. Thanks.
