Our annual eSWUG meeting held in Richmond, Virginia on May 6, 2009 brought with it some new officers that I would like to introduce to you. First if all I (Anna Kroll) moved up from the position of Chair-Elect to Chair. I work at The Master's Seminary Library as both the Cataloger and the Interlibrary Loans person.

Our new Chair-Elect, who will move into the Chair position next year, is Chris Lincoln. She comes to us from the Aerospace Corp.

Alice Ho will be the new Treasurer. She works at Santiago Canyon College.

Mary Logue, from Westmont, will continue as the Secretary for another year.

Heather Tunender has agreed to help out with our 2010 mini-conference planning, so will be part of our Planning Committee. She works at the Paulina June and George Pollak Library at Cal State, Fullerton.

Already we are starting to make plans for our next mini-conference for sometime around February, 2010. Please feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions for topics and speakers using the discussion forum below. Our organization is what we all make of it, so your participation will be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,
Anna Kroll
eSWUG Chair

Just a quick note to let you all know that I am now on the ELUNA 2009 Planning Committee with the position of Coordinator of Photos. So do not be surprised if I ask you to bring your cameras to the ELUNA 2009 Conference, to help me with taking pictures. I am sure I will find out more about my responsibilities as time goes on. If interested in helping to take pictures, please let me know, and I will put you on a list. Thanks.

We worked hard for this year's event, held February 21, 2009. Now we are in the process of thinking about next year's event. We are sorting through the evaluation forms and gathering information from a survey. Here is another place you can give your ideas and suggestions for the next event. Not only do we welcome suggestions for session topics, but speakers as well. Feel free to add to this thread. And get the word out to other users of Ex Libris products in the South Western United States.
